Flexible funding periods are now being rolled out gradually. Since 19 May 2025, new and reassessed plans release funds quarterly—rather than all at once—to better help participants manage budgets. This doesn’t change total funding but improves predictability and planning 2025‑26 Pricing Arrangements took effect on 1 July. This includes revised support rates, such as extending early childhood supports up to age 9 and updated pricing caps across Core supports New provider regulations from July 2025: support coordinators, SIL providers, and platform providers must now register with the NDIS Commission. This adds safety standards, audits, and compliance obligations A fresh legislative framework launched last year is now active, enhancing regulatory oversight to curb fraud and promote evidence-based funding choices
